How does Pilates Plus Physiotherapy help address neck pain or headache issues?

Judith uses her research findings of normal 3-D motion of the neck, shoulder and scapula to  promote better alignment, mobility and neck muscle control in both static (sitting at your desk) and dynamic (lifting your child or weights in the gym) postures.

Normal stress or loading is placed on the correct muscles and joints thereby reducing strain on the neck.

Pilates Plus exercises are customized to meet each individual’s needs, ensuring they are safe and effective for those with chronic pain or injuries, offering gentle relief while minimizing the risk of further harm

About Pilates Plus Physiotherapy for neck pain

Do I need a doctor's referral to start Pilates Plus physiotherapy if I have neck pain or headaches?

Yes. Unlike other countries such as Australia, you are required to obtain a Dr’s referral letter to attend Physiotherapy sessions in Hong Kong.

Yes, by accurately analyzing the cause of your neck pain or headaches, the treatment will be tailored to your specific needs, rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

As with all Pilates Plus exercises, the treatment is active rather than passive. Not only will you spend an hour in each session focussing on improving your posture, you will also  receive a few targeted exercises specifically designed for your condition to do at home.
