Discover Pilates Physiotherapy in Hong Kong with Pilates Plus! Judith’s program helps alleviate chronic pain and aids in injury recovery.
Judith Gould, an Australian-trained physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy and honours degree from the University of Queensland (1987), founded Pilates Plus, leveraging over 35 years of experience to transform pain management and posture.
After starting her career in public hospitals in Queensland, she moved into private practice working with work-related injuries as well as with the Newcastle National Basketball League, specializing in sports injuries, and treatments like hydrotherapy and ACL recovery. After working in Darwin, Judith travelled overseas and while working in Saudi Arabia she focused on ACL pre and post rehabilitation. Arriving in Hong Kong in 1994, Judith continued her academic focus and contributed to Pilates research at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and completed a Master of Philosophy.
Today, she specializes in her signature Pilates Plus method and was the first to take Onero™, out of Australia. Onero™ is an award-winning evidence-based exercise program proven to help men and women with osteoporosis and osteopenia.
A research-based bone density exercise programme which is aimed at both men and women with low bone density – osteopenia and osteoporosis.
An assessment and treatment programmme to help manage pain and retrain posture/movement.

Based on scientifically supported methods yet delivered with personalised, expert-guided care.
A holistic approach addresses physical health, flexibility, strength and coordination rather than isolated treatment modalities empower patients to manage their conditions independently over time.
“I trust Judith completely and recommend her to anyone needing help in dealing with chronic, acute or injury situations. She will effectively address the issues, get you back on track and stronger than you started. She inspires, perseveres, coaxes and pushes, as needed, to get results from you and for you. An accomplished professional, an incredible person and a wonderful friend!”

“After disappointing sessions with a dozen physiotherapists in HK, Judith’s holistic approach to tackle my underlying problem was refreshing. Not only is she the sharpest diagnostician who can even spot childhood injuries from simple movements, but her attitude to attune to clients’ needs and a plethora of knowledge with wide contact networks in HK were truly impressive.”

“If you are looking for an outstanding physiotherapist who offers highly customised pilates programs in a small class setting, Judy Gould is the person to contact. I have worked with Judy over several years now. Judy has a bubbly and motivating personality and a well-equipped and fastidiously
clean studio. I cannot recommend her more highly.”

Yes. Unlike other countries such as Australia, you are required to obtain a Dr’s referral letter to attend Physiotherapy sessions in Hong Kong.
Pilates Plus benefits individuals with injuries, chronic pain, post-surgery recovery needs, or specific physical conditions. It’s ideal for those seeking personalized, physiotherapist-guided exercise for rehabilitation and improved movement.
Pilates Plus can help manage pain, improve mobility, and support recovery by addressing the root causes of your injuries. However, it may not fully resolve all issues on its own. It’s best combined with professional medical advice and treatment for optimal results.
Pilates Plus should not cause pain. The focus is on controlled, gentle movements tailored to your body’s needs. If you feel pain during a session, it’s important to inform your physiotherapist so adjustments can be made to avoid injury.
If you have existing injuries or medical conditions, Pilates Plus can be modified to suit your specific needs. A qualified physiotherapist will design a program that focuses on your rehabilitation, ensuring exercises are safe and effective while considering any limitations or precautions.
